Depending on whose definition you use, Organisational Development (OD) can be as broad or as narrow as you wish. Managing Matters takes a broad view and believes that OD is about the capabilities and systems that an organisation has in place to ensure that its people and processes are able to perform at optimal levels and adapt successfully to change. In his book “The Advantage”, Patrick Lencioni goes another step and focuses on what he calls Organisational Health. He argues that “an organisation has integrity – is healthy – when it is wholly consistent and complete, that is when its management, operations, strategy, and culture fit together and make sense”. Through the provision of consultancy, training and coaching services. Managing Matters is equipped to assist organisations and businesses become more healthy. Ensuring that they are fit for their current purpose, and fit for confronting challenges in the future.
